Your journey begins with a scenic one-and-a-half-hour drive from Kandy to Kalugala village. The hike starts here, taking you through spice gardens and open grassy areas before reaching the challenging climb to Yahangala. The route can be difficult, but the views and experience make it well worth the effort.

Yahangala is believed to be the resting place of King Ravana, adding a touch of mystery to the hike.
