Your adventure with Lanka Trek starts early with a drive from Kandy to Bambarella village, where the hike begins. Your friendly guide will lead you onto the Leopard Trail, named for the rare wildcats that live in these mountains.

After walking about 2 kilometers, you’ll find the beautiful Knuckles Falls—a lovely waterfall flowing through the forest. Stop here to enjoy the peaceful sounds of water and fresh mountain air.

As you climb higher, the thick forests open up to wide grassy areas. About 5 kilometers into your trek, you’ll reach the first of the five peaks that give the range its name—they look like a closed fist when seen from certain angles.

On clear days, you can see for miles in all directions from the top. Take amazing photos as you stand on these ancient mountains.

Your journey continues across open meadows with rare plants, with each peak offering new views of this natural paradise. Your guide will tell you about the many unique plants and animals that call this place home.
